Dreams are symbolic. Dreams are filled with symbolism. One would be inclined to take them seriously. Careful observation of woke (conscious) life indicates to the hidden (unconscious) inklings. As a kid I know I have been taught myths concerning dreams, but doing my own research I discovered dreams are so  much more than indigestion or sleeping on my back.
